Your gratitude notes, your chime schedule, and your reminders never leave your Mac. Personalized meditations are the exception, on every plan: the prompt you write is sent to our service to generate the session.
What stays on your device
The daily chime, gratitude and intention log, daily quote, posture and break reminders, and the on-device audio library all run locally. They need no account and no network connection, and the entries you write are stored only on your computer.
What requires a server
Two features send information off your device, because that is where the work happens:
- Personalized meditations (every plan). The prompt you write is sent to our service to generate the session; the resulting audio is returned and cached on your device for free replay. Every plan includes a monthly allowance — Free starts at three sessions — so this applies even if you never subscribe.
- ICAN conversations (Cosmos). Your messages are sent to our service to produce a supportive reply.
We use this content to provide the feature and to meter your usage against your plan. We do not sell it.
Your account
To subscribe, we store your email address and your subscription status. We sign you in with a one-time link sent to your email — there are no passwords to store or leak.
Payments
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Emi never sees or stores your card number. During this preview, Stripe runs in test mode and no real charges are made.
